Before Your Session

 

  • It is requested that you to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This prevents any stress in scheduling for you or the therapist, and allows time to use the facilities, turn off your cell phone, and relax.

 

  • For the comfort of both you and your therapist, it is recommended that you shower at least 12 hours before your appointment.

 

Cancellation and re-scheduling

 

  • In consideration of our clients and the massage therapist, you must give 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment prior to the appointment time. If change in the appointment time is not appropriately given, the client may be charged the full fee.

 

  • No-shows will be treated as cancellation without notice and the full fee will be charged. Two no-shows will disqualify the client from future bookings.

 

  • In the event that a client is late for an appointment, the session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow. Depending upon how late you arrive, the therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of treatment actually given, you will be charged for the full session.

 

Inapproriate Behaviour

 

  • All massage services provided by Renaissance Massage Therapy are non-sexual. No sexual conversation or behavior will be tolerated at any time. Any inappropriate words, jokes, or suggestions by the client will result in the immediate termination of the massage session. Massage sessions terminated for inappropriate behavior will be charged the full session fee and no further bookings will be taken.

 

  • Clients under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be treated. Clients should refrain from drug or alcohol use 12 hours prior to their session.
